Here is an example of a wedding I did in Upstate NY, Danielle's in New Hartford - this was near the end of the reception!
I make sure your guests stay until the end and not leave after dinner, and are bored even if they do stay!
Remember the music you hear is what the client wanted on their day, therefore if you do not like a song you hear that you would not have at your reception, then use this as a guide - every wedding is different and normally we play a vast majority of different era's and types of music depending on the information given by the client and the planning process before the reception..luckily we do not play the chicken dance or hokey pokey...only on the odd occasion where the client specifically asks for it to be played...as you can see by the video, - ALL ages are dancing even Grandmothers and small children.....a testamment to our experience...
